3D CAD Modeling for Consumer Product Prototype (Enclosure + Internal Fit)
Project Description:Looking for an experienced CAD modeler to create a manufacturable 3D model for a consumer product prototype, including enclosure design and internal component fit.
Scope of Work
Create a detailed 3D CAD model of a small consumer product enclosure
Design with manufacturability and prototyping in mind
Account for internal component placement (PCB, battery, connectors)
Provide files suitable for 3D printing and future manufacturing refinement

Reference sketches and rough dimensions
Basic functional requirements
Component size constraints (to be shared after engagement)
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with product-focused CAD modeling
Familiarity with prototyping workflows (3D printing, enclosure design)
Ability to suggest improvements for fit, structure, and print readiness
Deliverables
Native CAD files (STEP preferred)
STL files for prototyping
One round of reasonable revisions
This project is part of a larger product development effort, and there may be follow-on work for prototyping or fabrication once the model is finalized.
